BUILDING MAINTENANCE
Seeking for a dedicated individual to join a team of professional Agency Staff of WFLFN#459-CFS Family Preservation Program, and serving children and families within the community. Salary will be based on Qualifications and Experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Worker shall work cooperatively and constructively ensuring the accuracy, relevancy, meaningfulness and effectiveness of the overall operations of WFLFN #459 - CFS Family Prevention Program Office Building. The Maintenance Worker is a key team and may be asked to carry out additional duties and activities related to the effectiveness and successful maintenance of the WFLFN #459 - CFS Family Prevention Program building.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skill:
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Require a High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 5 or more years’ experience in a maintenance position is highly preferred. Have to have the following safety tickets: WHMIS, TDG, Standard First Aid Level C CPR.

Additional requirements:
Current & valid Alberta Driver’s license; own vehicle or access to vehicle with $2M auto liability insurance (when required to use own vehicle); Child Youth Information Module (CYIM) and Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) clearances; submit to oath of confidentiality; personal telephone or access to telephone; current first aid certificate (note: training will be provided if certificate not currently held); be willing to adhere to agency drug & alcohol policy; Alcohol and drug testing pre-screening will apply; ability to speak and/or understand the Cree language a strong asset.

To provide satisfactory Security Checks as a condition for hire. The selected candidate for this position will be asked to undergo an Intervention Record check and a CRIM check.
